This webiste was made to show my love for
Star Trek and all the wonderful stories and ideas that it conveys. Star Trek has, since the begining, proven to be an excelent
experience. The show was conceived by a brilliant man known as Gene Roddenberry. The first Star Trek to air was the original
series in 1966. His ideas and his shows have portrayed ideas and scenes of great human achievement and a wonderful future.
It has captivated me and I have grown up watching his shows. I feel that it can bring much good out of people and show a realistic
universe if humanity puts behind itself greed and its petty differences. Much good has come from Star Trek.

Eugene
Wesley "Gene" Roddenberry, (August 19, 1921-October 24, 1991) was an American screenwriter and producer. He became best known as
the creator of what would become the science fiction universe of Star Trek. He would also become one of the first people to
be buried in space. Roddenberry was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross for his actions in the U.S. Army Air Corps
in the Pacific Theatre of World War II. Roddenberry was sometimes referred to as the "Great Bird of the Galaxy"
in reference to his role in Star Trek.
